Theme Analysis
The eternal abode, often referred to as Vaikuntha or the spiritual sky, is the ultimate destination for the soul. unlike the material world, which is temporary and full of misery, this abode is sanatana (eternal) and imperishable. Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that because the living entity is eternal, true happiness can only be found in this eternal atmosphere. The path to this supreme destination is through surrender and devotional service. By the mercy of the Lord, a devotee who engages in service—even while acting in the material world—is promoted to this transcendental realm, never to return to the cycle of birth and death.
- Nature of the Abode: It is described as sanatana-dhama, continuing to exist even after the material worlds are annihilated.

- Specific Locations: The Nitya Avataras have their own specific eternal abodes within the spiritual sky.
